The best scenic and long-distance train rides in the U.S on @amtrak 🚂🇺🇸 Some notes about each one: Empire Builder - this train splits so half the train goes to Seattle and the other half goes to Portland (also I meant to say AND Glacier not like - that’s in Montana not the PNW) Coast Starlight - there are more scenic views after the first day (I believe in Oregon) but it was dark so I didn’t see them California Zephyr - the most scenic part starts in Denver and you also go through the Sierra Nevada Mountains Oh and you can take all these the opposite direction too! But in the Midwest so that’s where I start …and no the east coast rides aren’t as scenic lol sorry I don’t have scenic recs for over there! 😅 #traintravel #traintrip #traintraveller #amtrak #amtrakgram #amtraktrain #trainstagram #traintravels
