PLEASE READ!!!! ik some might come for me & use this post to say things about the way i eat, but before you say anything, just watch the entire video. i made this 4 myself cause candy use to be ONE food i’d BINGE SO badly. today, i had a piece & put it away. 😻 (something the old me GENUINELY wouldn’t have been able to do, or probably would have tried but would’ve gotten extreme anxiety going to sleep & end up eating all of it and then some and proceed to say i am NEVER eating candy again “starting now.”) 😃 im sharing this bc on my journey to becoming my best self, i’ve also had to unlearn a lot. when ur not confident in your body & u r so young, there’s so much information coming at u on “how to fix your body”. everyone telling you what’s ‘good’ or ‘bad,’ what you should or shouldn’t eat, etc. it’s literally impossible not to pick up certain ideas, and for a long time, i did and let those CONTROLLLLLL me. this is why i always share, yes i have goals and I DO MAKE sacrifices TO LOOK THE WAY I DO!!!! BUUUUUUUT, i dont accept or agree with diet culture. no food is inherently bad or will ruin your progress. it is all about balance and letting go of ALL the rules we’ve been taught to believe. realizing that alone, has given me sm peace. now ik this all might sound so dramatic and cringe but i don’t even care. if this helps one person, im happy. getting ur dream body doesn’t have to be about restricting or avoiding foods forever. i think u heal binge eating by letting go of rules you’ve made around food & actually proving to yourself you can handle it, especially when it’s scary. anyways SO MF LONG OMG ik it’s legit just a piece of candy 😭😭😭 but being able to do this is an accomplishment in and of itself 4 me. if u get it, u get it, and if u don’t u don’t.
