Sour candy can help to kind of distract your brain from whatever your having an anxiety attack over. It's almost like your brain goes, "one crisis at a time" and it can help lift the panic fog from your brain and help you regain some control. Personally, I love this tip, I find it helps me in the moment and I'll usually pair it with some hot calming tea like Chamomile or the "Sleepytime" tea by Celestial Seasons. I like to focus my mind on what I'm grateful for while I drink my tea, as well as focusing on praying for my friends and family. The book in the video is called "Anxious for Nothing" and it is written by Max Lucado. I love, love, LOVE this book to pieces. I have read it a few times, and it really helped me through a troubled time a few years back.
