Currently going through one of the most challenging times in my life, and yet, I won’t stop! We all have our highs and lows, but I hope during your lows, you have your strength, your support and your faith. An escape can guide your thoughts and take you to places you’ve never been. It can make your temporarily forget and immerse yourself somewhere else. If you are an artist, through pain, grief, sorrow, joy, anxiety, confusion, depression, hope, love, any emotion…Create!!! Channel your energy into something fruitful, doesn’t have to be light, if it’s darkness at the time, so be it. Follow your purpose, you could be “successful” or not, keep moving, this is your journey. Things take time, but happen at the right time. The American Alligator to me is a symbol of resilience. Through generations, they have been able to thrive and adapt. Thick skinned, tough! I’ve learned a lot over the last few years observing and taking footage of these incredible animals. I’ve seen multiple gators missing part of their jaws, their tails, eyes, amputated limbs and yet they persevere. Most people think I’m insane for what I do alone in the wild, but in order to bring awareness, people have to place themselves where no one has. To show a different side. The photo reference came from a picture I took of a gator in the wild. Gators are apex in Florida, scary, stealthy and unpredictable like all wild life, but they along with every other organism, big and small, are key to maintaining balance within our ecosystem. Conservation is key. Protect Florida. The American Alligator Portrait. Acrylic paint on canvas 4ft x 3ft. Total with frame, 5ft x 4ft. Thank you for supporting! Muito obrigado a todos pelo seu apoio!
