Crashing out in the comment section before hitting the block button *might be* my toxic trait. I like drinking a cup of coffee, paying for bills, reflecting on ways my cat tries to take me out when I'm walking, or basically almost anything before hearing your concerns about my body fat. My knees are pretty damn terrific. My ankles are about an eight out of ten, and I walk sideways down the stairs like a good 39 year old sometimes do. MYOB and enjoy your cornflakes, Chester. 📹 @esnelldesign <--- He loves my crescent rolls. 🥹😍💅🏿 #runningfatchef #plussizeathlete #plussizerunner #athletewithdisabilities #icandohardthings #slowrunner #tryjesusnotme #slowrunnertiktok
Over the years, my running pace fluctuated, and my grind didn't stop. This fall, I moved through 7 cities, completing over 10 races, including 2 marathons and a 50K distance, while moving slowly. Days before the NYC Marathon I shared some tips about race preparedness and mindset at the @HOKA Fifth Avenue flagship store. What ways do you move with confidence on race day? Any hardships or concerns that you encounter as a slower pace runner? Let's talk about it below! #runningfatchef #hoka #flyhumanfly #slowrunner #slowrunnertiktok #athletewithdisabilities #posthysterectomy
It's my goal to hate the treadmill less and less, considering it helps me every marathon training cycle. For the running babes who find themselves losing brain cells while on this exercise equipment, hopefully, this will help you. It is the one time I enjoy putting on headphones and listening to anything but my feet. How is your running (or lack of running) going this December? Emojis are acceptable answers, too. #runningfatchef #plussizeathlete #plussizerunner #hoka #flyhumanfly #hokapartner #athletewithdisabilities #treadmill #icandohardthings
It's January 2nd: It's okay if you don't have it all together. You don't need to be a new version of you. You don't need to have a well curated vision board. You don't have to be okay. You don't have to do better than yesterday. Some of us are still trying to survive until we're able to remember what thriving feels like again. Eventually, we'll find the sun again. Things will crumble along the way. We'll rebuild. It's alright. Happy New Year, my loves.
