Replying to @d There is ALWAYS a reason for inflammation. If you are still experiencing autoimmune symptoms after making changes to your diet and lifestyle, there is a cause behind that. You are not doing anything wrong. You just haven’t addressed all the pieces to the puzzle. And your body is letting you know that through your symptoms. I know from experience that is a frustrating place to be in. So I’ve detailed what to look into next in this video. If you want to work with me to feel better with diet and lifestyle changes, join the heal in 12 membership in my bio. #autoimmunedisease #autoimmune #autoimmunewarrior #autoimmunewellness
💎 Save this quick tool & use it when you feel anxious or dysregulated this week 💎. December can be a traumatic time for many people. We are “supposed” to feel safe, happy, and comforted by the family around us. But what if we’ve experienced trauma? What if we have had a death in the family? What if we are sick and just not feeling ourselves? You don’t have to be anything that you’re not. So… if you’re feeling sick or chronic symptoms today, you may be asking yourself: “Why am I so fatigued? “Why do I have pain with no obvious root cause?” “Why am I constantly experiencing hypervigilance?” My answer: there could be a miscommunication happening between the brain & body. The hypothalamus is the part of your brain responsible for regulating several bodily functions, including appetite, sleep, temperature, metabolism, and growth. Chronic stress causes an increase in overall cortisol output and sustained activation of the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Adrenal (HPA) axis, which can result in a drastically reduced ability to cope with stress...and a laundry list of symptoms. ⚠️You may know this as “adrenal fatigue.” It’s not—it’s HPA axis dysregulation. This same part of the brain becomes activated when we experience positive emotions, like gratitude, flooding our brains with the feel-good chemical dopamine. It’s our thoughts that inform our emotions, and our emotions trigger physical sensations in the body. When we make slight shifts to our focus, we alter our neurochemistry in a way that helps build resilience in the face of traumatic & stressful events. Positive rumination is associated with cyclical & repetitive thoughts centering on what’s going WELL, similar to how negative rumination involves repetitively focusing on what’s going wrong. 🥰It causes feel-good neurochemicals to remain in the body longer, promoting HPA axis balance that can lead to changes in chronic symptoms. You can start today. Reset is our 7-day introductory course that helps people move INTO a state of rest-and-digest, giving you a taste of brain retraining. Start this week for just $15. I’m BIG on starting my day with intention—setting myself up for success and supporting my body from the start. My lifestyle is how I support my endometriosis and celiac disease. Without a healthy diet, active lifestyle, sunlight, and quality sleep - I know I’d feel far worse and my symptoms would flare far more often. My anti-inflammatory morning routine is specifically designed to nurture my autoimmune health. A high-protein breakfast fuels my muscles and reduces inflammation, while morning sunlight boosts vitamin D, crucial for immune function. Quality sleep restores and regenerates, and nutrient-dense foods give my body the vitamins and minerals it needs to fight inflammation and promote healing. This routine is vital for my day and plays a key role in managing both my endometriosis and celiac disease. #AutoimmuneWellness #endometriosis #endometriosisawareness #celiacdisease #MorningRoutine #AntiInflammatory #HealingJourney #antiinflammatoryfood #eatwholefoods #wholefoodsdiet #autoimmunehealing #AutoimmuneHealth #NourishYourBody #celiac #leakygut #autoimmune #chronicillness #pcos #ovariancyst #ovariancysts #endowarrior #endometriosissupport #healthadvocate #gutsupport #morningroutines #hormonebalance #hormonehealth #hormonehealing #turmeric #turmericbenefits
Giveaway Alert:Today is Day 4 of our 5 days of giveaways. Head to our instagram stories to enter for a chance to win your Vital-Side’s Morning Meditation for FREE Why regulate your nervous system? Well, it was once thought that by the age of 30, our thinking patterns were solidified and our brains were incapable of creating new neural pathways.🧠⚡️ But recent scientific research has discovered that the brain is constantly experiencing new neural activity throughout our ENTIRE LIVES. 💫This means that we can actually learn and unlearn habits, and even boost our emotional intelligence by learning new information as we age. 💫It may seem hard to do at first because when the brain gets stuck on autopilot it is resistant to change—a.k.a. HABITUAL behavior. 💫But when we create new thought patterns, we are able to break habits that are not serving our highest good and ultimately, change our reality. 💫We do this by getting out of the chronic stress response loop and activating our parasympathetic nervous system so that BOTH mind & body can HEAL. If you’re suffering from chronic illness and/or stress, the best gift you can ask for is a moment of peace and calm. This year, you can ask for one step towards nervous system regulation - one step towards healing… with the best stocking stuffer. What if the definition of healing wasn’t the absence of symptoms, but the body’s resiliency that comes with those symptoms? What if as we heal, we do not rid the body of symptoms, but increase our capacity to get back to homeostasis on our own? What if we recognize that our bodies are dynamic and will respond to stressors in our environment with symptoms? What if the difference between sick and healthy is if our body can get back to homeostasis quickly and on its own? How would this change your version of healing? How would this help you see healing from a new and different perspective? How would this encourage you to move into the end of our year with more ease and grace on your mind and your body? You get to choose. You get to decide. Comment “reboot” below if you’re ready to adopt this new belief.
