Save and share for THIS WEEKEND! I love the @uptownmarketaz and so many of the vendors there. There truly are too many good ones to list in this video. So this is a small list of the spots I’ve been recently frequenting on my trips to the market. I love @bagelero, there’s never a time when an amazing bagel and cream cheese doesn’t sound like it would hit the spot! @3rdfloor_smoke get the Sonoran burrito Azfoodie style, it’s a secret menu item. I can’t help but always get a croissant at @copperstatebreadaz, they also serve bagels but my go to order is the ham and cheese croissant. Obviously I’ll stand in whatever length of line I need to get my caffeine fix from @caffioespresso. Either an oat cortado or vanilla oat ice latte. @letstoastofficial for delicious Korean bbq sandwiches! @thaistickphx is where I go when I want some really amazing protein. This is Kellan’s favorite too. And have you tried @mozzarepas_arizona yet? Seriously my fav arepas in town and have been for years. This market is so huge and such a fun place to wander, eat and puppy watch. Like I said there are so many other spots that I hit up and love. The West Valley is one of the fastest-growing metro regions in America and with it comes both new & familiar food spots. @taqueria.gdl is one of those new additions to Goodyear, where they offer an Guadalajara-inspired taqueria experience. You might recognize some of the GDL team members from @taqueriajalisco_phx , a family owned & operated business that’s been on a successful run on the West Side. Owner/family member Oscar Chavez received the family blessing to start his own business using a similar taco al vapor style that his family became known for. 🙏🏽 @taqueria.gdl has a different take on this popular tacos al vapor craze that the city is currently hooked on. 🌮 For example, the tortillas are strategically purchased from a California supplier who’s info the owner won’t share with me. 😅 It was a big challenge to find local tortillas that won’t easily fall apart with the toppings are added, but that issue has since then been resolved by using these special corn tortillas. The salsas have have an explosive flavor that I haven’t really experienced elsewhere in the valley. Then the meats offered come from the highest quality they could find 🔥 It’s a limited menu, but guaranteed to have you coming back for more. They also serve chocomilk & fresh aguas frescas. Favorite menu item: THE CHORIZO TACO! 💥The team went above & beyond to research the best chorizo tacos from LA and came back with the perfect recipe. It was so good I needed to order another plate of these bomb chorizo tacos. This spot has been serving up Mexican food in the valley for over 20 years. I went in at @taquitosjaliscomesa and tried a bunch of tacos (loved the fish taco), ramen birria, pastor quesadilla, chimi with the red and green sauce and one of their combos that included a crunchy taco, cheese enchilada and chile relleno, all of it was really delicious. Bring the family out to @Imaginarium this weekend for a massive light display, where you can walk through 5 million lights, they have storybook characters and creatures, eclectic photo boxes, infinity, mirror, rooms, crazy entertainment show that will make you scream (at least Kellan and I did), fake snow and bubble play areas, as well as a ball pit, and immersive activity rooms.
