Eight minutes later check out my second photo on some fun batik tulis (hand drawn batik designs) based on our existing batik copper plates and a few flairs. Planning out all these designs for 2025 launches đŸ€©đŸ˜ I don’t have or know how to use design software.. so pencil and paper it is, which fortunately works well with how our artisans design their batik. In the past we have been creating our batik from our artisans’ copper plate stamps but picking the color combinations to use and which stamps to combine. Next year, we will test out hand drawn batik patterns. Let me know what you think? #floral #batik #scarf #bandana #handdrawn #fabric #fabricart

The new year is a good time to share of our future launches and we will have a few exciting ones!! Starting with this full hand-drawn batik bandanas (batik tulis). Unlike our other bandanas made using combination of stamped batik and hand drawn batik, these bandanas will feature full hand drawn batik and so each of them will be slightly different. The batik pattern we will launch with is called batik tiga negri, or batik three lands. Based on history, it is called three lands because they used three colors that signify Solo, Lasem and Pekalongan, which are three different cities in Java. This won’t launch until a few more weeks. But sign up for our newsletter and you will be first to know. There will be very limited number of bandanas available. #batiktulis #batik #bandana #batikdye
