Did you catch that? 👀 I know you saw my husband swoop in and apply those BOMB hip squeezes... But did you notice my midwife back off with the monitoring when she realized I was contracting? They did these actions without being asked. Why? BECAUSE WE DID THE PREP WORK They know how and when I want to be supported, they know when I want to be left alone/not touched/not spoken to. THEY KNOW. I don't have to say a friggin word, I don't even have to think about it. Which is priceless! It means I can relax and focus on supporting MY MIND & BODY while bringing my baby earth side. Knowing my team’s got us 💖 If you’re ready to do this work with your team (and so much more), The Birth Prep Course is for you ✨ enroll today! #unmedicatedbirth #birthprepcoach #birtheducation #birthteam #contractions #birthprep

Here’s a huge list of ideas to consider: ✨ Eat small, frequent meals to keep your stomach settled. ✨ Stay hydrated with water, herbal teas, or electrolyte drinks. ✨ Snack on protein-rich foods like nuts, cheese, or yogurt. ✨ Use ginger in tea, candies, or supplements to ease nausea. ✨ Ask your provider about taking Vitamin B6 for relief. ✨ Try acupressure bands to target nausea pressure points. ✨ Opt for cold foods, like smoothies or fruit, instead of hot meals. ✨ Avoid strong smells that trigger nausea. ✨ Keep crackers or dry cereal by your bed to eat before getting up. ✨ Steer clear of greasy, spicy, or heavy foods that worsen symptoms. ✨ Rest and nap when possible to reduce fatigue-induced nausea. ✨ Get fresh air with a walk or time outdoors. ✨ Add lemon to water or suck on lemon candies to settle your stomach. ✨ Focus on light activities to distract yourself from nausea. ✨ Talk to your provider about safe medication options if needed.
