This weird electronic break in the "chorus"? I guess? Is like sonically what it feels like being emotionally shaken around. feeling like the space someone holds in my heart is equal to what I hold in theirs only to quickly be shown or told otherwise. I mean when I was sitting down and making this song I wasn't thinking about it with that level of metaphoric depth, i was just venting and smashing keys on my midi controller trying to make a sound that matched how big my feelings felt. It should also be said that I started this track in 2020, came back to it maybe a year plus later, and came back to it several times after that. I'm not in the same intense place I was then, and being able to make art about it is part of the reason for that. What I am most proud to share about this song now is the wild production.
