2024 was a good year and we’re looking forward to all the changes we’ll make in 2025! We ended the year with a gynecomastia surgery for a gentleman from Missouri as well as a cancer reconstruction surgery for a patient with both squamous cell cancer and melanoma skin cancer of the left cheek. I was thrilled to see both doing so well yesterday one day post op. Looking forward to our hair transplant surgery tomorrow! #austinplasticsurgery #austintx #plasticsurgeon #gynecomastia #gynecomastiasurgeon #gynecomastiasurgery #cancersurgery
Come take a peek through my rose colored glasses. 🌹🕶️🔍 This audio hit me in all the right places. Before melanoma, my smiles were rare and often insincere. I was a lost soul, seeking happiness and healing in all the wrong places. It took cancer to reset my mind and awaken me to the blessing of simply being alive and healthy. Chasing highs and material things in dark, cold places only kept me in that same state—cold, dark, depressed, and miserable. Cancer saved me in a lot of ways. It saved my life, gave me new opportunity to love my life, and provided me with the tools and time to heal my mentality. This healing allowed me not only to help myself but also to help others. I learned to look inward and then share that journey with the world, hoping to offer a bit of hope and reduce the feeling of loneliness for others. I despise cancer with every fiber of my being, but I must admit—I am thankful for the experience. It brought me to my lowest point, allowing me to rebuild my life, confidence, and purpose. I am grateful for the friendships and relationships I have formed along the way, the lessons I’ve learned, and the obstacles I’ve had to overcome that challenged my growth. I am a happier human. • • • #cancercommunity #melanoma #melanomasurvivor #cancerawareness #lifeaftercancer #cancersurvivor #ayacancer #skincancer #moles #cancersurgery #widelocalexcision #skingraph #oncology #surgicaloncology #tumor #melanomatumor #cancerfighter #melanomawarrior #cancerwarrior #cancerpatient #skincancerawareness #skincancerprevention #youngcancer #lifewithcancer #positivity #healthiswealth
