Replying to @Likewhaaaaaa83 This is why it is best to always book your shore excursions directly with the cruise line. When you book using the cruise line, if the cruise excursion vendor is running late, the cruise line will wait for you. If you book with a third-party vendor and they are running late for whatever reason, the cruise will leave you behind. My name is Veronica (37). My husband’s name is Rob(42). And he was diagnosed with ALS in May 2023 when he was just 40. We have 3 kids 13,8,6 and have been together this year for 20 years! His diagnosis rocked our world. Within a few months Rob lost his speech, ability to eat, walk, breathe and move all together. I am now his primary caregiver and it has been a REALLY hard time for our family. Before he was bed bound he LOVED to play with the kids, he was so active. Loved to vacation especially anything water and CRUISE!!! Cruising, the beach and jet skiing were probably his favorite things on earth. He has been talking about cruising with our kids one more time. But I genuinely have no idea how we could make it work. Or if we could. And I can’t do it alone. I have 1.4 million followers. And if we ALL repost!!! And TAG these cruise lines. Maybe JUST maybe we can make going on a cruise as a family a reality. Or maybe someone with connections can actually send it to the right person 🥹🥹❤️. It would be VERY hard. It would take a LOT of work. And a LOT of accommodation. But I see @stevegleasonofficial who is SUCH an inspiration of LIVING with ALS. He travels with his family! And I feel maybe we can do this for my husband and our family! We are going to be traveling to Saint Martin, Antigua, Barbados, St. Lucia, and Grenada.
