PANETTONE FRENCH TOAST 1 loaf Bauducco chocolate chip panettone 6 eggs 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup half and half 1 Tbsp. cornstarch 2 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 orange, zested and juiced 4 Tbsp. butter Powdered sugar, for serving Maple syrup, for serving Cut the panettone into thick slices. In a blender or large bowl, thoroughly mix all remaining ingredients (except maple syrup and powdered sugar) until well combined. Pour into a large baking dish and dip the panettone slices until they have absorbed the custard, about a minute per side. Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium and, working in batches, cook the French toast in butter until nicely browned on each side. Serve with powdered sugar and syrup.
