Do you speak your native language 🗣️👅 ? Mother’s Tongue is a 3 min documentary style film (On YouTube) about how I wasn’t taught my native tongue due to assimilation. I moved here when I was 2 years old and as soon as I moved here English was pushed down my throat so that I could have an easier time in school. But now being an adult I feel like I’m not as connected to my culture like some of my peers.
