Here’s the triptych I’ve been working on for my BFA seminar project ✨. Like some of my other artworks, I didn’t have a solid plan, just a few ideas floating around. Most of this emerged through the process of creating. I aimed to capture the feelings I experienced through dance, similar to my Nocturne of Spirits painting. This one, however, was more influenced by the concept of movement in both dance and non-dance contexts. Much of this painting was inspired by my experience as a choreographer for the Orchesis performance at WSU 💜. My experiences with dance and painting are often connected, enhancing my focus and helping my mind find clarity. I used acrylic paint and gold leaf for this project, influenced by art I saw in Italy and England. These mediums allowed me to create movement through brush strokes and color, forming shapes and figures. The figures in this painting are special to me as they are people I know personally through my dance and art experiences at WSU. Thanks so much to Kadee, Jonah, Winter, Genevieve, and Angelea for letting me paint you for my art project 💖💖 • • • • #acrylicpainting #paintingofdancers #triptych #giantpainting #dancers #dancerpainting #paintingdance #capturingmovementinpaint #capturingdance #choreography #renaissancestyle #renaissanceaesthetic #classicartstyle #classicartaesthetic #imademyowncanvas #paintingpeopleiknow #triptychpainting #largepainting #watchmepaint #localartistutah #utahartist #collegestudentartist #tiredartist #momentofweightlessness #realisticpainting #realisticdancerdrawing #realisticartwork #bfaseminar #bfaart #rainbowpainting
