If you’re not a Scripture Central superfan you can scroll past. But for those who really want to level up their scripture study this year, here is everything that @scripture.central is producing in 2025. . We always do Come Follow Me YouTube lessons except this year we will NOT be having Taylor and Tyler. In fact, we won’t even be having Tyler do Come Follow Me. After years of volunteering to do Come Follow Me lessons, Tyler Griffin has decided to shift to a new project, which I’ll share in just a second. . For Come Follow Me, we have something I’m personally excited about. Church History experts and dynamic duo Scott Woodward and Casey Griffiths are going to be doing Come Follow Me lessons with us all year long. You might know them from the Church History Matters podcast, and they are so good at what they do, so they’ll be shifting the focus of their podcast to CFM for just this year, and publishing their video recordings on the Scripture Central YouTube channel. @church.history.matters . Lynne Wilson will also be doing videos going over the context of Church History for each section of Come Follow Me published on the Scripture Central YouTube channel. . Now back to Tyler. You may know that our tagline is Illuminating and Defending Divine Truth. A lot of what we do is illuminating the scriptures, making them easier to understand. But a bigger focus in 2025 is going to be on defending the faith. To that end, Tyler Griffin has decided to start a video series on the Scripture Central YouTube channel delving into the most common questions investigators ask the missionaries. It will hopefully be a great resource for missionaries and friends curious about the faith alike. . The project I’m going to be personally involved in is a series of journalistic explainer videos on difficult topics that we’re calling Defending Faith. Several of us will take on challenging topics such as the temple garment, evidence for the Book of Mormon, Mountain Meadows Massacre, Latter-day Saints in pop culture, and a lot more. We’ve already published a couple on the Scripture Central YouTube channel, one on Heretic and one on Jaredite names in the Book of Mormon, and more are on the way. . We’re re-launching an exciting travel documentary called Restoration Revealed with BYU Professor Casey Griffiths as the host, taking us around church history sites while we cover topics relevant to Come Follow Me. This series started in 2021, and we’re back for season 2 with some amazing new footage and stories to tell. . The Let’s Get Real with Stephen Jones podcast will be continuing to publish new episodes with fascinating guests. The Messages of Christ YouTube channel is going to continue producing explainer videos and cinematic reenactments of bible stories to reach a broader Christian audience. @letsgetrealstephenjones . Our research team is going to continue publishing KnoWhy articles and Evidence articles on our website on a weekly basis. They produce some very underappreciated original research on the Book of Mormon and Restoration scriptures. . And of course, I’m going to be continuing to produce social media reels on the ScripturePlus account several times a week, to give you the latest Church News, gospel insights, and tips on using the ScripturePlus study app. . Let me know in the comments which project you’re most excited for and if you have any questions. .
