Pumpkin Cheesecake It’s always tough deciding which dessert to bring during the holidays. I couldn’t make up my mind between pumpkin pie and cheesecake, so I figured… Why not both? This was a fun cook and absolutely delicious. If you haven’t tried it out before, the recipe is below! Ingredients Graham Cracker Crust- 14 Graham Crackers 2.5 tsp Sugar 1.5 tsp Brown Sugar 8 Tbsp Butter Filling- 24 oz cream cheese 3/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup Sugar 1/3 cup Sour Cream 1.5 tsp vanilla 1 cup Pumpkin Puree 2.5 Tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice (cinnamon, ginger, clove, allspice) 3 eggs lightly beaten Start by making sure all ingredients are room temperature. Combine your filling ingredients and set aside. Combine crust ingredients and press into your oiled pan. Pour your filling on top of the crust and tamp the pan to remove air bubbles. Next, pipe with jam, jelly, or whatever you like. I used pumpkin maple preserves! Using a straw or toothpick (I used a chopstick), press into the surface to make your design. There’s plenty of different designs you can do, I stuck with something simple and it was beautiful… bake at 325 for an hour. Let cook slowly, then chill overnight in the fridge. My cheesecake did crack, however… I ran out of cinnamon and decided to use fireball and the extra liquid didn’t help my cause- but still equally delicious and it turned out great! #christmas #baking #desserts #holidays #cheesecake #pumpkincheesecake #sweettooth #confections #FoodLover #fyp
