WANT TO AVOID MORE HAZARDS??🚨 There is a systematic way to modify where you are aimed depending on "threat level"! We've talked about where to aim depending on distance from the pin and how close to the edge the pin is, but what about aiming with hazards involved? Your aim should be modified depending on the different concerns a shot faces. MODIFIERS Water: Aim 3 paces further away from water towards middle of the green. Bunkers: Aim 2 paces further away from bunkers towards middle of the green. Hitting from the rough: Aim 2 paces further away from side pin is on towards middle of the green. Each of these is based upon scoring average and your shot dispersion. For example, if you aim at a pin from 150 yards that has water 8 yards right of the green. Without any modifiers you could aim at the pin. Roughly 20% would still find the water though. If you modify your aim, aiming 3 paces more, you'd now be aimed 11 yards off the water, and lower your percentage of going into the water to around 10%. You'll still find the water every now and again, but you'll be aiming in a way that avoids a big number but still gives you a chance to birdie! #coursemanagement #golftips #golf #golflesson #green
