The first day I woke up at 4am and got there at 630, but it wasn’t enough time to sketch before the sun came up 😩 I had to come back the next morning, but earlier — at 530. I was able to sketch most of it with Kevin’s help, but still didn’t get it all done bc my battery died…so I’ll tape grid the rest. Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out ! If someone only looked at the numbers of my business- the revenue, profit, items sold, hours worked - they might conclude it’s not worth it. But there are other numbers that are harder to see and are worth so much more in this season of my life. The number of days my kids were sick and I was able to be home with them… The weekly coffee dates I was able to have with my besties… The number of people I connected with online and in my community through Stay Cozy… The trips I had time to go one with my family… The time spent caring for myself, others, and our home… Obviously I have to pay attention to the business numbers to make sure it’s working, but I’ve also learned that if I don’t pay attention to the other things that matter, than no matter how good those numbers are, it won’t be worth it.
