We’ve got another of our latest winter-themed monsters to throw at your table for this week’s
#MonsterMonday. Check out the Woolly Jötunn Troll! Like all jötunn trolls, woolly jötunn trolls hate gods and outsiders, enjoy destroying places of worship and eating the religious, despise church bells, are averse to lightning, and often blend into stone when petrified by sunlight. Unlike other jötunn trolls, these trolls sport incredibly long, tangled, and somewhat “living” hair that grants them additional combat abilities, immunities from the cold, and more. Woolly jötunn trolls sport strange hair that writhes like living snakes, entangling other creatures that draw too close, and allowing the troll to clamber along walls and ceilings, dropping on their prey from frigid cave ceilings, swinging heavy clubs covered in ice. Usually, the trolls gather corpses or trinkets within this tangled hair, trophies they proudly display or brag about to other members of their horrid race.
