How Long Does A Stenciled Floor Last?! 🤔 This is probably the #1 question we get asked when it comes to tile stencil projects. We used our Augusta Tile Stencil to paint the bathroom floor in our commercial warehouse FIVE YEARS AGO! 🤯 It’s seen tons of heavy foot traffic and has faced its fair share of cleaning and it still looks like new!! Here are our pro-tips for a successful, long lasting floor stencil project ⬇️ 1. Thoroughly clean your surface with TSP cleaner and allow it to fully dry. 2. Apply 1-2 coats of a multi-surface primer, like Binz or Stix, to ensure the best adhesion. 3. Offload excess paint onto a paper towel before applying it to your stencil to avoid paint bleed. 4. Seal the finished project with 2-3 coats of a water based polyurethane like @varathane 5. Allow ample drying time between each step 6. When cleaning 🫧 hot, soapy water works just fine!
