Three key points: 🔸 Alcohol is a class 1 carcinogen (like asbestos and cigarettes) and increases risk of many cancers. 🔸 There is no safe amount of alcohol to drink but if you choose to drink, we recommend three drinks/week on average or less (some societies say 1 drink/day but even 1 drink/day increases breast cancer risk by 10%). 🔸 Cutting out or eliminating alcohol can have so many other benefits like improving your sleep, mood and mental clarity.
