This was bad. This was actually the worst thing Iāve come across with mom in this nursing home. It was neglect. Pure and simple. It is hard to share but it needs to be seen. I know many of you have been upset in the past. I have been too. But with the staff, I try to be fair and understand. I try to remember the end goal and to also see it from a real life perspective. BUT This was too far. It was addressed this day and thankfully, I had our first care plan meeting already scheduled and was meeting with Hospice. This situation (as well as the next visit) I was able to share at the care plan meeting as examples of blatant neglect. If I hadnāt gotten that meeting and/or hospice. I donāt know what weād be doing right now. We are stuck tbh. Neither dad nor myself are able to care for mom at home. I know many of you will say to take her home. It isnāt possible at all.
