The sign outside Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures gift shop is being removed! • The sign is the latest in the demolition efforts as Disney takes down the DinoRama portion of DinoLand U.S.A., as part of the phased closure of the entire land. The shop, which guests typically entered as they exited the Dinosaur ride, was themed to a roadside tourist trap complete with kitschy signs, decorations, and plenty of dinosaur puns. Construction walls are now up around Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama as DinoLand’s phased closure begins! • Hedges and green walls block the area around Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures, TriceraTop Spin, and Fossil Fun Games, which held their final day of operation on January 12, 2025. • This is the first phase of closures for DinoLand U.S.A. as work begins to transform the land into the Tropical Americas expansion.
