What do yall think? I also notice that the people who take the time to build rapport don’t focus on the sin as much. More on the actual Gospel which is that Christ died so that we may have eternal life bc His Spirit give the children of God the ability to OVERCOME sin. So we do not need to believe the lies of the enemy that tempts us or makes us think the ways of this world are correct or sin isn’t that deep or there isn’t better for us, etc. They focus on that. Sometimes they even get to the root of why ppl have issues w Christianity & Jesus and are able to teach ppl some things & give them a diff perspective. Idk just my thoughts. We’re all on our own walk with Christ but at a certain point one has to truly sit down with God and be honest with themselves about whether or not they’ve truly surrendered their entire life to God. It’s one thing to slip up and wrestle with sin but another to engage in it purposefully and continually. Our standard is Christ, which is holiness. If you are a child of God, you have the Holy Spirit within you, and therefore you CAN be completely transformed. Some people are still stuck in the baby Christian phase in year 6, 7, 8. At some point you literally have to spiritually grow up. Let’s just pray God gives each and every one of us a heart that truly truly wants to please Him, a heart that hates the things He hates, and the strength to flee from sin and avoid temptation. It is easier when you remove yourself from certain environments and people who don’t align with who God is calling you to be.
