We know that food offers comfort to many of the difficult and stressful things we encounter everyday. Food does not provide answers or solutions, at least not permanent ones. Food provides instant relief, comfort and support. But those feelings quickly fade, leaving you eating more to chase that same feeling. Ask yourself questions. Why are you feeling this way? Where am I? What am I doing? Who am I with? Etc Then you will be able to begin understanding WHY you emotionally and stress eat, and being AWARE of these triggers so you can deal with them in a healthy way. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
