#Epigenetics explores how genes are expressed without changing DNA sequences. It delves into environmental influences, heredity, development, and disease, highlighting the dynamic interaction between genes and lifestyle factors. Fascinating science!
Epigenetics Explained: How Our Environment Shapes Us People ask all the time what about genetics? Aren't I just what I inherited from my parents my grandparents? Yes until the moment you're born Then Epigenetics is what comes into play. Epigenetics is how does the outside world impact you down to a DNA level. We all know like the guy in yellow Big upper body…little tiny legs. That is not genetics….That dude skipped leg day every day. Our faces are just the same in that they are made up of 43 muscles. Those 43 muscles as we get moved MIND—>MOVEMENT—>MUSCLE * The mind creates movement * Movement Creates Muscle Remember when our parents said “stop making that face or you'll get stuck that way!” Turns out there's some truth to that statement So because nobody ever wants to look at me once they find out what I do…… Here is a picture of me. If we can go past the obvious did I not have AMAZING HAIR in the nineties. That was the time of Vanilla Ice…….lots of hairspray and gel went into that look right there. But what you can see is what's changed over time: 1. My ears used to stick out more, now they're closer to my head. 2. My eyebrows used to be straight, now they're angled……..I did not go have that professionally done. That's a question that comes up all the time. 3. What's harder to see is my eye angle even changed over time Our faces are constantly changing based on: * The experiences we have * The thoughts that go through out mind * The faces we make repetitvely Thats why when we see someone who has left a job or relationship they were unhappy at when we see them later we say “Wow You Look Like a New Person!” #decodingfaces #epigentics #learntoreadfaces
