Ohio’s is home to many natural bridges but the largest one that you can cross is the at Rockbridge State Nature Preserve. 🥾 The natural bridge or arch is 100 feet long and 10 to 20 feet wide, and gracefully arches 50 feet across a ravine 🌳 Tucked away in Rockbridge, Ohio (near Hocking Hills) the state preserve offers 2.75 miles of moderate hiking trails. ‼️The trail has lots of tree roots, elevation changes and can be muddy. Wear proper hiking shoes and bring water. 🦟Bug spray and sunscreen are a must! 🚗 There is a parking area but not any picnic tables, garbage cans or restrooms. If you bring a snack pack it out. 🌟The area by the bridge has steep cliffs, stay on the trail and keep a close eye on kids. 🪨 The trail to the Rockbridge branches off to go to the Rock Shelter. 🦋 The preserve has a butterfly garden along the trail.
