I knew going into this appointment that I had breast cancer , even though I was in denial , I knew. This just validated it for me , even before the biopsy . I was misdiagnosed for 3 months with mastitis , a breast infection. Which was so frustersting because I kept getting brushed off because of my younger age and no family history… while I had an aggressive grade 3 her 2 + cancer growing inside me. I was terrified. This feels like yesterday and forever ago all at the same time . My biggest piece of advice … advocate for yourself !! You know your body , you know when something isn’t right , speak up. Do your monthly self checks , it’s so important . Make your health a top priority and don’t take a single thing for granted. So many of us have had our entire lives flipped upside down , yet … we’re still standing.
