#FertilityJourney encompasses the emotions, struggles, and triumphs of individuals and couples facing fertility challenges. It fosters community, support, education, and awareness, sharing stories of hope, resilience, and personal growth.
This is the most vulnerable thing I’ve posted so far on my platform. For so long so I was so scared to show this side of my TTC journey because I felt like in some way it would discourage other people trying to get pregnant. Now almost a year and a half into it, I realize that this journey is so lonely and can feel so small and bleak. After a certain point you realize there’s there’s not always going to be a ton of people in your personal life who understand what you’re going through or have the sympathy to show you care and grace the way you need sometimes. I feel like for the last 17 months there’s been so much I’ve held in because I don’t know many people in my personal life who can relate to my situation. I’m blessed to have a husband who’s walking with me every step of this journey, but as the person who’s “responsible” for carrying life, I hold so much of the blame on myself and my body. Because of that, I knew the right decision would be to start sharing this journey because I know somewhere out there there’s someone else who is in my same exact shoes and wants to feel not so alone. So hi friend. I’m here. I feel you. I am you. And we’re going to make it through this. We wouldn’t have these strong desires placed on our hearts if this journey wasn’t meant for us.
