This is a repost from a Friday back over the summer, and many of the animals pictured have since returned to their wild home, but the current animals in care still need your support. Usually winter is the "slow season", a time to rest and recuperate before the boom of babies that come in orphaned and injured in the spring 🌸🌷🐿️🐰🐣but this year we haven't experienced much of a pause. It is still a revolving door of injured adults, and overwintered patients that need longer-term care. Soon we will also be planning for our baby shower, a fundraiser to welcome in the spring babies! if you have a business that would be willing to match donations for a baby shower fundraiser, or would like to sponsor a species by purchasing baby formula and supplies, we would be so grateful for the help🙏🏼🥰. Update: it is almost 11am and the goal has been met and even over what was needed... $515.00 has been donated! Thank you all so very much 😍🩷🎉 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Today's $5 Friday post is to raise funds to purchase medication to treat mange. Over the last 2 months I've had quite a few calls about foxes and coyotes with mange. The injured fox I posted about yesterday with the broken leg also appears to probably have mange. My goal/hope is to be able to order 6 Bravecto pills to have here on hand for helping these animals. I also use topical Bravecto on the kits that come in as orphans so if there is extra I will use it towards the topical also.
