Meet Belle Belle joined our rescue after entering an extremely overcrowded shelter in South Carolina. She was kenneled with 3 other dogs. As fate would have it we weren’t actually planning on pulling her. We were pulling a small pitbull mix, we named Jazz, but saw Belle kenneled with her in a video. We have a “leave no man (or lady) behind” policy so by sheer luck Belle was saved also. (the 3rd dog was adopted) Belle is … * ~2 Yrs Old * Female * Medium Sized @ ~20lb * Breed: Beagle * Crate Trained - house is unknown at this time due to our home set up to accommodate fosters. * Dog Friendly – Seems to be more comfortable with her male canine friends and dogs more her size. Gets a little timid around larger dogs. * Very social / people friendly * Her sniffer leads her everywhere. In true hound fashion Belle would be perfectly content wandering a yard and home sniffing all the smells. * Loving & gentle * Enjoys walks & yard time – doesn’t really grasp the idea of fetch or toys * LOVES frozen kongs and bully sticks * Requires a slow feeder – Belle came to us extremely thin so tries to inhale her food. A slow feeder is a must. Neo was found lying in some ivy in the yard of a kind, dog loving, good samaritan. He had been severely neglected, was a matted mess, and had a ratchet strap tied around his neck. Luckily those kind people reached out to us for help, and we immediately got to work. Neo was seen by our vet and then our groomer shaved all the horrible matting off. It took 2 HOURS! He was ready for a new beginning! Now Neo is on the search for some humans to call his own. People who value him and will keep up with his grooming and vetting as needed. Neo is … * ~2 Yrs Old * Male * Small to Medium Sized @ 12-15lb * Crate Trained - house is unknown at this time due to our home set up to accommodate fosters. - We also use belly bands for males until we are 100% confident and thus far we haven’t had any accidents in the belly bands. Outside Neo is a marker though because he has not been neutered yet (it is on the schedule) * Dog Friendly * Very social / people friendly * Energetic but not overwhelming – he has a great amount of play and cuddle * Loving * Enjoys walks & yard time * He smiles … not joking! Neo loves to smile and show his bottom teefers. * Gives great kisses - to warn you, you will think he’s coming in for a nip but we quickly learned that’s his kissing style. He comes at you quick with an open mouth then gives you the sweetest kiss. Little Neo LOVES chase!!! Well Hello there Neo!! Neo is feeling like a new guy after shaving all that matting off. Our best bet is he is a Schnoodle (a Schnauzer / Poodle Mix). This is just a guess at this point. He’s around 2 years old and 10-15lb (haven’t weighed him after removing all the weight of his matting). He’s a little bit of a nervous nelly but has done well with our resident dogs he’s been tested with this far (we take intros slow so haven’t gotten around to everyone yet). He’s 100% crate trained but because he hasn’t been neutered yet is a marker and goes right in for the hump when around unaltered females 🤦🏼♂️. Neo is a very sweet boy and would do well in a calm home environment. He is incredibly clever so proper fencing is a MUST! As he’s with us we’ll continue to learn more about his personality. His neuter is scheduled for mid January which makes him available for our February Midwest / Northeast transport.
