We are back! Steak Fried Rice Recipe: Steak marinade: 13 oz beef chuck 1 tsp soy sauce
4 tsp oyster sauce
4 Tbsp water
2 garlic cloves, grated
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp baking soda 2 Tbsp avocado oil -In a large bowl, mix together all marinade ingredients, except for avocado oil. Add beef, fully coating all sides. Let marinate for at least 1 hour. -Add avocado oil to a wok and cook beef until cooked through and lightly charred. Remove and set aside. Fried rice: 4 Tbsp butter, divided 1 carrot, diced 1/2 onion, diced 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped 4 cups jasmine rice, cooked 1 Tbsp avocado oil 4 eggs, whisked and seasoned with salt and pepper 3 Tbsp soy sauce 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp white pepper 2 Tbsp sesame seeds 4 scallions chopped, plus more for topping -In the same wok, add 2 Tbsp butter and let melt. Add garlic, onions, carrots, and green peas. Cook until onions are softened and translucent. -Add rice and mix. Cook for 1 minute and push the rice to the side. Add 1 Tbsp of avocado oil and eggs. Scramble eggs and cook almost all the way. Mix with the rice. -Add soy sauce, salt, white pepper, and sesame seeds. Mix to combine. -Add the beef back and mix. Add another 2 Tbsp of softened butter, let melt, mix, and cook for 2 minutes. Mix in scallions and cook for another minute. Top with more chopped scallions and enjoy!
