🍫 This Tiramisu tower was such a hit this year at my Christmas party and is such a fun way to wow your guests. ☕️ Tiramisu makes for an excellent dessert for dinner parties because you can make it the night or day ahead. Here’s what you need to try this at home: Ingredients: 4 egg yolks 1/2 cup of granulated sugar 1 cup heavy cream 8 oz mascarpone 1/2 tbsp powdered sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract or paste 2 tbsp of cocoa powder 12 ladyfingers 1 1/2 cups of strong brewed coffee or espresso 🌰 Recipe: In a double boiler, combine the egg yolks and granulated sugar and mix for about 3 minutes. You’ll know you are done when the mixture turns pale yellow and you can no longer feel the granulated sugar. In a mixer, combine heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract or paste. Mix until you get a few peaks, then add mascarpone and mix until stiff peaks. In a separate bowl, combine/fold your egg yolk mixture with your mascarpone cream mixture. To assemble, lightly dip your ladyfingers into the brewed coffee or espresso and place them into your cups, then add in your mascarpone cream filling and repeat at your final layer of mascarpone cream, dust with cocoa powder. Chill for at least 4 hours; for best results, chill overnight. Note: for the tower, use cups meant for stacking; this will also get messy, so prepare some napkins or towels to wipe off the bottom when ready to serve. 🤎 Enjoy!
