HOMEMADE STRAWBERRY GUMMIES! -aka my ultimate pregnancy craving 🍓 Instead of reaching for store-bought snacks, I started making my own, and it’s been a total game-changer. These homemade strawberry gummies are made with fresh fruit, a touch of sweetness, and just a few simple ingredients. 2.5 cups of strawberries, tops removed 3 Tbsp unflavored gelatin 1/3 cup of pure maple syrup, honey or agave 2 Tbsp fresh lime juice Place strawberries, fresh lime juice, and maple syrup in a blender. Blend until the strawberries are fully broken down. Strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove the seeds for a smoother texture. Pour the strawberry juice into a saucepan over medium heat. Gradually sprinkle in the gelatin while whisking continuously to prevent clumps. Bring the mixture to a slow boil, whisking constantly, and then remove it from the heat once it starts boiling. Transfer the gelatin mixture to a Pyrex glass measuring cup for a cleaner and easier pour. If you’re using square silicone molds, pouring directly works well. For gummy bear molds or intricate shapes, an eye dropper is helpful for precision and avoiding spills. Slowly fill each mold to the top. Place the filled molds in the fridge for about 1-2 hours to let the gummies solidify. Once the gummies are firm and completely chilled, pop them out of the molds and enjoy! Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. What I love most is knowing exactly what’s in them—no hidden extras, just real, wholesome goodness. They come together in minutes with a blender and some gelatin, and they satisfy that sweet craving while leaving me feeling good afterward. Plus, they’re so fun to make!
