germanshepardrescue hashtag performance

The hashtag #germanshepardrescue highlights the dedication of volunteers, shelters, and fans working together to save, rehabilitate, and find loving homes for German Shepherds in need across various communities.
My mornings are usually very overwhelming, but I find happiness in being able to provide and serve for everyone in my family. What I see as stress, others might see as their dream. I used to dream about having my own family, and now that I do, it’s easy to forget this is what I asked for. These busy mornings are probably going to be what I miss the most one day. There’s nothing quite like your boys screaming at full volume before the sun even comes up. I never knew it was possible for someone to wake up with more energy than me, but Leo and Luka prove me wrong every morning. Now that we have Bear, that is another opportunity I get to serve in my family. I am looking forward to the day he joins everyone inside. Rescues take time, and it would be irresponsible introduce him now as he needs more time to heal. I am still learning about Bear’s personality and how he reacts to situations. Bear has a several month heartworm treatment process ahead of him that requires absolutely zero activity. My heart still breaks every day for how Bear was treated, but I know he is in the best place possible for a fresh start at life 🐻🫶🏻. #twins #dadlife #parenting #identicaltwins #identicaltwinboys #twinboys #reels #twin #germanshepard #rescue #germanshepardrescue
The last few days of my life have been interesting to say the least. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t completely burnt out and overwhelmed recently… but we have to keep moving forward. I’ve joked in the past with my wife that we should get a third dog, and she always laughs it off because we both know we can barely handle what we have now. That all changed when we came across Bear 🐻. My wife and I were out driving around with the boys to pass time. The moment we locked eyes I felt like he was asking for help. He was terrified to come close but he also wouldn’t run away. I knew we had to do something for this sweet pup. Bear’s previous owners did not deserve him, regardless of the excuses they fed me. I’ve fought a lot of emotions the past few days, mostly anger and sadness. He is still in pretty rough shape and terrified of everything (understandably). To be completely honest, we aren’t completely in the perfect scenario to bring another dog into our house. Having two one-year olds and two established dogs will be a major adjustment for Bear and everyone in the house. We won’t give up on Bear like his previous owners. ever. As a family, we will make things work… like we always do. I would want Leo and Luka to do the same if they were in my shoes. I want them to grow up with compassion and the kindness to do things for others, even when it might be difficult. This whole situation is new for everyone in the family, but I am so excited to integrate Bear into our lives. Now my wife is completely outnumbered with 6 boys in the house. 😅 Thank you to everyone for your kind words and support towards Bear. I set up a Gofundme to raise some money for Bear and his vet/medical bills. Anything extra we raise for Bear will be donated to local shelters in our area. The link will be in my bio and I will post a story as well. 🫶🏻🐻 #twins #identicaltwins #identicaltwinboys #twin #dadlife #rescue #germanshepherd #germanshepardrescue #parenting
