Have you ever experienced a blessing in disguise? That’s what these babies have been for me. While they are all (but one) getting settled into their new families, I sit back and look at how God worked and moved all in this situation. Reo was not meant to be bred (so soon). These babies were not meant to be here. I cried. I was angry. I questioned, and I blamed. And I am the one who is changed for the better. Reo and her babies grew me in humility, in grace, in kindness, and in forgiveness toward myself and others. Growing and stretching isn’t usually a fun process, but it’s necessary for us to become more like who God wants us to be. Let me remind anyone who is experiencing a trial right now: Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” This doesn’t say that ALL THINGS WILL BE GOOD. This says that God can use anything FOR good. And it’s conditional as well. Don’t overlook the last part. We must love God. We must choose God. We must strive to be what He wants us to be. And while I don’t want to get too preachy on this particular platform…maybe this is exactly what needs to be done. Maybe that’s the shift I need to make with my fresh start. And if this isn’t your cup of tea, I beg you to stick around just a little longer to see the strength, the grace, the peace, the light, and the unshakeable joy that our Savior can bring to your life. Hello New Year and Goodbye 2024! A year I stretched, grew, and was challenged to be more like Christ. (Are we ever “there”? No, but we keep striving) A year with 7 litters producing 45 puppies. 45 puppies that have brought more joy, fun, and love into the world. A year I lost friends but found my circle. And how beautiful that this happened in the same year. God always sends to send me rainbows after the storms. A year I had a lot, A LOT, of program losses. But the wins were so beautiful. Again, rainbows. A year I was humbled, became more vulnerable, and got to exercise my “grace” muscles. If you pray for grace or patience, be expected to be challenged 💪🏼 A year of wonderful trips and precious quality time with family. Never never take this for granted. A year I could have lost my husband and son in a scary ATV accident. A year that ended with successful surgery and grateful hearts. I pray God will lead me in 2025. I pray me goals will align with His will, and if not, He will redirect my course (gently preferably 💕) Thank you so much to each of our puppy family, friends, and followers for making this a beautiful year- for supporting us, and encouraging us through the valleys.
