Black History Month is around the corner, and this year, it’s time to take things up a notch. Supporting Black businesses isn’t just about symbolic gestures—it’s about building a stronger, more self-sufficient community. I’ve found a website selling all Black-owned products and a new social media platform that NEEDS us to make it as popular as the others we’ve helped build. If we can do it for them, we can definitely do it for our own! And let’s think beyond the usual. I need everyday household items—things me and my family can use daily—to support Black businesses all February. If those things aren’t available, that’s an opportunity for us to diversify and expand our entrepreneurship. The possibilities are endless if we step up. Lastly, let’s remind ourselves of the power of group economics. Supporting Black banks, businesses, and creators isn’t just spending—it’s investing in our collective future. Let’s pass the word, support one another, and make this Black History Month a movement.
