First, I want to thank ALL of you for the overwhelming love and support these past few days since Gypsi's passing. 🫶🏼I am humbled by how you welcomed & loved on her in the short time she was with us. Thank You! 🧡❤️Lastly, this possibly came at the perfect time for me/us. If you recall, the story of Sammi was featured on 'My Best Friend's An Animal' by @Love Nature & @Big Wave TV in several countries a few months ago. But was unable to secure TV rights here in the US. I just received Great News!!! 😃 The series premiers tomorrow night, 1.10.25, on the NatGeoWild channel - 9 EST/8 CST. Sammi must have made quite the impact, as her story will be in Episode 1. I really hope that you are able to watch it or record & enjoy later. It feels so final when she comes home this way 😢 . I have struggled with whether to share what happened to Gypsi. Because I want to focus on the life she lived not the way she was lost. But I also understand how it helps with closure. . We were at home & she was just outside the door in her little yard. I had stepped away for a couple minutes & in that time, a hawk came in & grabbed her. Though it did not take her away, the initial attack was so severe that there was nothing I could do to save her. Thankfully, she did not suffer & passed quickly. 💔 .
