Day 1: Top 3 Things I Wish I Knew Before Stepping Into the Hair Industry ⬇️⬇️ 1. Investments Only Work When They’re the Right Investments Simply putting money into your business doesn’t guarantee success. If you don’t have the audience or demand for your product, you won’t see a return. This was a huge mistake that I made when I was starting out, I took all of the money that I had made for three months straight, doing hair …. And bought some bundles from KBL Supplier , that I had never tested , and I thought it would be easy to sell if I just posted it and got some views… that was not the reality, I didn’t have an audience. I didn’t know who my target audience was, and I didn’t know how to make my product sell. Always Focus on strategic investments that align with where your business is right now, not just what you hope it will become. 2. Find Your Niche and Target Audience Not everyone is your customer, and that’s okay! Your business will thrive when you stop trying to appeal to everyone and focus on serving the audience that aligns with your brand and products. Sometimes, we may see some business owners doing things that work for them- but those same things may not work for us in the same way, just because we see that it brings them success, and it’s the audience that works for them doesn’t mean that it will work the same for us. 4. “You Won’t Be Everything to Everyone” Trying to please everyone is a recipe for burnout and confusion in your brand. Success comes from clarity—knowing what you offer, who you serve, and staying consistent with your message. Focus on being authentic to yourself and the audience meant for you. “ strand success, a comprehensive guide to Supplier testing and marketing” + our personally tested vendors list are some of the best investments to make for 2025 if you are a new business owner.
