Replying to @ivan_2k1 most issues as I have found out from people is not soaking the brush. It is like a sponge. Soak it in warm/hot water for 30-60 seconds at least. Wring it out. It doesn’t need to be dry, but get most of the water out. Now, I mostly do trial and error. Sometimes I like a more watery lather, sometimes I like a thicker lather. Some of this depends on if you are using a shave cream, shave soap or a shave soap puck in my experience. Load the brush with shave soap. 15-30 rotations based on what your using (listed above). As shown, I personally look to see if any water “leaks” from the brush into the lather bowl before I start. If not, I add a few drops. For the aeration part I just go until I am happy. Checkout @@The Antiquated Gentwho has tons of examples of making shave lather. Hope this helps. #
