We had the absolute joy of chatting with artist Dev Heyrana at the unveiling of her radiant heart sculpture, “SŌL,” for the 2025 hearts in sf public art program by @sfghfoundation. 🫀✨ Originally launched in memory of the legendary Tony Bennett, whose legacy lives on in the heart of San Francisco, this year’s program celebrates 22 talented artists—and Dev is 1 of only 2 creating large heart sculptures. 💫 Her masterpiece beautifully reflects her journey as a Filipino American artist, mother, and community connector, shining a light on resilience, kindness, and the vibrant cultures that inspire her. But wait, there’s more heart to love: Dev’s talented daughters, Quinn (11) and Rowan (7), joined the creative celebration with their own mini heart sculptures, “Spark In Our Hearts.” These two young talents infused this year’s collection with joy, wonder, and a whole lot of love. Follow along to see these heartwarming creations come to life:
