Two things that make me happy, a home cooked meal and a healthy gut! I’ve been drinking @Health-Ade kombucha for years, they taste great and have living probiotics to help support a healthy gut. As someone who doesn’t drink a lot of alcohol, I’m always looking for yummy and fun drinks to have and bonus points if they have benefits. The Pink Lady Apple flavor is my favorite! What healthy habits are you creating in 2025?! ingredients: 1 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into 1 inch pieces 1 Tbsp arrowroot powder 1/2 tsp garlic powder  1/4 tsp onion powder  1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper  2 Tbsp olive oil  12 oz Green beans sesame seeds honey garlic sauce: 1/4 cup chicken broth  3 Tbsp soy sauce  1/4 cup honey 4 cloves garlic, minced  2 tsp arrowroot powder  Directions: Cut the chicken into 1 inch cubes. Mix together, 1 tablespoon of arrowroot powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper and then toss with the chicken till everything is coated. In a large skillet on medium-high heat, drizzle one tablespoon of olive oil to the pan. Add the chicken, season with salt and pepper and cook until lightly browned. Once the chicken is cooked, transfer to a plate and set aside. Drizzle another tablespoon of olive oil onto the skillet. Add green beans and season with salt and pepper. Sauté green beans for about six minutes, while things are cooking, whisk the chicken broth, soy sauce, honey garlic in a small bowl, add the chicken back to the pan with the green beans pour the honey garlic sauce over the top, bring the sauce to a boil, then turn down the heat and let sauce until sauce thickens. serve over rice and top with sesame seeds! #healthyhabits #newyearnewhabits #healthadepartner #healthadekombucha #guthealthydrinks

Monday morning vlog before my Tuesday surgery! Would you guys believe me if I told you this morning routine all came from me deciding I was gonna build the habit of waking up a little bit earlier? I told myself I would start waking up 20 mins earlier than normal and use that 20 mins to go on a quick walk outside so I could work on creating a movement habit. Because I started and I started small I was able to get to my goal of a morning routine like this one!! How to have success creating the habit of working out!!  This is EXACTLY what I did and 4 years later I am still so grateful I took the time to build this habit the way that I did.  First, you are going to decide to walk for 20 mins a day 5 days a week. If you can only do 3 days, that’s okay! Whatever works for you is amazing, starting is the most important part.  Next, you are going to choose your habit loop for walking. That is going to help you get very clear on what you are doing and when.  For example, your habit loop could be  Cue: 8:30am after drinking coffee Routine: go outside and walk for 20 mins  Reward: starting off your day with physical movement and a small win.  Or it could be  Cue: 5:00 right when you finish work  Routine: get in car and drive to the gym + walk for 20 mins  Reward: creating the habit of going to the gym + working towards your goals.  After you have your habit loop I want you to follow this schedule  After you show up and go walk for 1 week I want you to buy yourself a small reward. It can be flowers, your favorite coffee, maybe a new water bottle or go crazy and get a workout set for your walks!  After 2 more weeks of showing up and walking I want you to get yourself a bigger reward. Something like a pair of new walking shoes or even your favorite meal (free rewards could be a spa night or a fun at home movie night)  (Week 1= small reward  Week 2+3= big reward)  Then after your first 3 weeks I want you to either decide to add 10 mins on and make your walk 30 mins or if you feel ready I want you to challenge yourself to also try a new workout or to try a new workout class!  While you build the habit of walking I want you to try and find other types of movement you actually like + want to do!   Then once you find that new type of movement you repeat this same cycle! Or if you love walking that is amazing and you can continue with that! I walk now 7 days a week because I absolutely LOVE IT. This is exactly how I created the habit of consistently working out and showing up for myself.  I love you and this will work for you too, you just have to try it!
