Dietitian Tip #14: EASY Protein Bagels! Greek yogurt vs. Cottage Cheese - which works better?? Matt said “yeah you can make these way more often if you want” 😂 if I had to choose, I think the cottage cheese is slightly fluffier and cheesier, but that doesn’t mean the Greek yogurt ones are bad! We love bagels in this house so either recipe is just good to keep on hand when you want a bagel and don’t have one! RECIPE BELOW 👇  Ingredients: -1 cup all purpose flour (I added an extra 1/3 c for cottage cheese) -1 tsp baking powder -1/2 tsp salt -1 cup plain non-fat greek yogurt OR blended low-fat cottage cheese (my favs are @FAGE and @Good Culture ) -1 egg beaten for egg wash  -whatever toppings you like. I used everything bagel seasoning. For the jalepeno cheddar bites, I added some shredder cheese and a picked jalepeno on top before baking (after egg wash) HOW TO: -in a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and either greek yogurt OR blended cottage cheese and combine into a smooth dough -divide into 4 equal parts and form into bagel (or whatever shape you want) -boil for 60 sec each side -remove and egg wash and top with whatever seasonings you want -place on lined/greased baking sheet  -bake at 350F for 40-45 mins on top rack (all ovens vary, so just watch until brown!) -let cool and enjoy!  #proteindough #proteinbagel #highprotein #highproteinbagel #healthybagels how to make protein bagels at home
