a literal summer dreamland ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ”๏ธ โžก๏ธ Send this to someone you want to hike here with this summer! ๐Ÿ“ Tolmie Peak at Mount Rainier National Park This has to be one of the best hikes in Washington (and possibly one of the best in the USA ๐Ÿ™ƒ) ๐Ÿฅพ To hike to the fire lookout at Tolmie Peak you will hike about 2.75 miles with 1,600 feet of elevation gain. It is definitely on the steeper side but 100% worth it. ๐Ÿ”๏ธ Since this hike is in a national park, there is a fee to enter. We use our America the Beautiful pass but you can also pay for a day pass at the entrance when you arrive. ๐Ÿพ This hike is not dog-friendly since it is in a national park. ๐Ÿš— The trailhead is down a fairly long dirt and gravel road. Most cars can make it! Parking is alongside the forest road - plenty of spots are available. If you get here later in the day, you may have to park up to a half mile from the trailhead along the road so keep that in mind. Would you hike this iconic trail??
