🎄✨ If you haven’t made Christmas Crack with Ritz crackers yet, what are you doing? 🙌 The buttery crunch of Ritz crackers is the secret ingredient that makes this treat next-level delicious! 🤩 Let’s talk about why this is the ultimate holiday snack: 👉 Homemade caramel that’s perfectly sweet and sticky 👉 Melted chocolate that creates a smooth, rich layer 👉 Toasted pecans that add the perfect crunch for texture 🥜 And did I mention it’s so easy? You just layer, bake, melt, and chill—and boom, you’re done! 🙌 This is perfect for holiday snacking or gifting (if you can resist eating it all, that is 😉)! 🎁 Here’s the recipe to make your own: Ingredients: • 54 Ritz crackers (about 2 sleeves) • 1 cup unsalted butter (about 2 sticks) • 1 cup packed brown sugar • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips • ½ cup crushed pecans (optional) • Flaky sea salt Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with foil and spray well with cooking spray. 2. Arrange the Ritz crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet. You may need to break a few crackers to fit, but make sure they cover the whole surface. 3. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Stir continuously until the sugar dissolves, and the mixture comes to a boil. 4. Once it starts boiling, let it cook for 4-5 minutes without stirring, then remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. 5. Carefully drizzle the hot caramel mixture over the Ritz crackers. Make sure it covers the crackers well. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes, or until the caramel is bubbly and golden brown. 7. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips over the hot caramel. Let them sit for 3-4 minutes to melt, then spread the melted chocolate into an even layer using a spatula. 8. (Optional) Sprinkle with crushed pecans, sea salt, or crushed Ritz crackers for extra crunch. 9. Let the sheet cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least an hour to harden. Once set, break into pieces and enjoy! So, are you team sweet or team salty when it comes to holiday treats?
