Lao Sriracha Honey Baked Ham Recipe by @davanh_spice Just in time for Holidays 🎁🎄🎊🎉 Ingredients ** Glaze ** 10 lbs bone-in ham ½ cup Lao Sriracha 2 cups granulated sugar 1 cup butter ½ honey 1 ½ tbsp. mustard 1 tsp. ground clove 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1 garlic clove ** Decoration ** Sliced pineapple 1 jar maraschino cherries toothpicks You can prepare the glaze a day in advance. Store it in the refrigerator and warm it up before glazing the ham. Be sure to stir it regularly, as it can burn easily. If it starts to burn quickly, simply lower the heat. 1. Start by melting butter in pot on medium low heat 2. Stir constantly 3. Once butter is melted add sugar 4. When it turns into caramel add the rest of ingredients 5. Add honey stir it well then add Lao Sriracha, stir again 6. Now add the cloves ,cinnamon, garlic cloves and mustard Prepare the ham. Remove all the skin and leave some fat. Score the ham to diamond shape squares. Set that aside. Get the baking pan and fill the bottom with water. This will help the ham stay moist. Put a rack in the bottom of pan. Don’t let the ham hit the water. Start by glazing the bottom of the ham, then place it on the rack and finish glazing the rest. Preheat your oven to 330°F. For a 10-pound ham, the cooking time is about 3 hours. Every 30-40 minutes, reglaze the ham and cover it again. Be sure to stop your timer while glazing to ensure the ham gets a full 3 hours of cooking time. During the last 30 minutes, add pineapples and cherries to the ham. Leave it uncovered to allow the surface to brown slightly.
