A easy veggie filled pasta sauce base for spaghetti, pizza, and pasta dishes! 1/2 medium onion 1 small garlic clove 2 celery stalks 1 carrot 1 bell pepper 1/2 zucchini 1/2 cup broth (chicken, veggie, or bone) 28oz can of crushed tomatoes 1 tsp Italian seasoning 1/2 tsp sea salt 2 tbsps olive oil Finely dice all the vegetables.  In a large saucepan, combine olive oil, the chopped vegetables, and Italian seasoning. Cover and cook for approximately 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Add crushed tomatoes and broth. Bring to a boil, reduce to low and let simmer on low for another 15-20 minutes. Add to a blender and blend until desired consistency. Taste and season accordingly. Let cool and pour into a ziplock bag or container. These energy balls are packed with oats, nuts, dates, and a hint of peanut butter for a sweet, satisfying boost. They take just 5 minutes to make and are so delicious! Perfect for a quick snack or pre-workout/post workout energy.  Try them out and let me know what you think! 🌱💛  Oats and Peanut Butter Energy Balls Ingredients: 	•	1 cup oats 	•	1/4 cup peanut butter powder (mixed with water to form peanut butter) 	•	5-6 dates (pitted) 	•	2 tbsp honey (optional) 	•	1/4 cup almonds (chopped) 	•	1/4 cup cashews (chopped) 	•	1/4 cup walnuts (chopped)       •      3 tbsp flax seeds  	 Method: 	In a food processor, blend all the ingredients everything until well combined. omemade chocolate chip granola bars! these chewy chocolate chip granola bars can be made gluten free, dairy free, and refined sugar free, and they’re so easy to make! ingredients: •2 ¼ cups gluten free quick oats •1 cup gluten free rice cereal •¼ cup + 2 tbsp ground flaxseed •1/2 cup dairy free chocolate chips/chunks (use refined sugar free or unsweetened chocolate to keep the recipe refined sugar free) •1/2 tsp salt •1/4 cup + 2 tbsp nut or seed butter of choice (almond, peanut, sunflower seed, etc.) •1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce  •1/2 cup honey •2 tbsp water •1 tsp pure vanilla extract instructions: 1. add the nut/seed butter, honey, applesauce, water, vanilla, and salt to a large bowl and mix until smooth. next add in the oats, rice cereal, ground flaxseed, and chocolate and mix until well combined. 2. once mixed, pour the mixture into an 8x8 square pan lined with parchment paper and gently press the mixture down using a separate sheet of parchment paper. 3. bake at 350°F for 25 -30 minutes, or until firm and lightly browned. once baked, remove from the oven and cool completely in the pan. 4. once cooled, slice into bars and enjoy! #granolabar #granolabars #chocolatechipgranolabars #homemadegranolabars #healthysnacks #easysnacks #kidfriendlyfood #homemadesnacks #healthysnackrecipes #EasyRecipes #glutenfreerecipes #dairyfreerecipes #refinedsugarfree
You can find the goldfish cutout on Amazon! To make the dough, add the following to a food processor: 1/2 cup sourdough discard (you could also use active starter) 1 cup all purpose flour 4 tbsp butter 1 tsp salt 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (optional for color, I don’t use it!) Blend until a dough ball forms, then wrap and either keep in the fridge for up to 2 days to long ferment, or roll out and bake immediately! Roll out onto a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick. Use your goldfish cutout and cut them and place on a lined baking sheet (just make sure they’re not touching). You can also take a pizza cutter and cut into squares if you want something a bit quicker! I just put on a show and work on cutting them out at night, it’s pretty fun! Sprinkle a little extra salt on top if you’d like, then  Bake at 350 for 20 mins or until golden and crunchy. Wait until they’re completely cooled and then store in an airtight container for 2 weeks! In a pot, add 1 cup creamy peanut butter 1 cup honey 1 tsp vanilla A pinch of salt Stir on low heat to combine, then add 3 1/2-4 cups cereal of choice (we love @eatlovebird ) Flatten into a lined 9x13 pan and place in the fridge for 30 mins to cool. These granola bars are seriously the best!!!! 🫶🏼💗 Here’s the recipe so you can make them your self!!!!      Wet Ingredients: Sourdough Starter: 250 g = 1 cup maple syrup or honey: 150 g ~ 1/2 cup Nut Butter of choice: 100 g ~ 1/3 cup Vanilla Extract: 10 g ~ 2 teaspoons Melted Coconut Oil: 25 g ~ 2 tablespoons Mix well until fully combined and add your dry ingredients Dry Ingredients: Rolled Oats: 200 g = 2 cups Nuts of choice: 100 g = 3/4 cup Chia Seeds: 10 g ~ 1 tablespoon Chocolate Chips: 70 g = 1/2 cup Cinnamon: 2 g = 1 teaspoon Salt: 4 g = 1/4 teaspoon Fold in dry ingredients carefully so you avoid mashing the nuts and chocolate… once well combined dump on to a 9 x 9 baking sheet lined with parchment paper. You’re going to want to make sure you flatten your granola bars out as best as you can.
