How I make homeschooling work with 3 kids and a newborn baby! I am definitely one of those people that needs to have a schedule when it comes to our homeschool. The schedule is what allows me to rotate the kids through so everyone is getting one on one time with me. The problem that I have with public school is that there are like 30 kids in the classroom and rarely is the teacher ever able to get to them all. With me being able to schedule our homeschool the way I do, I am able to adjust lessons and work at my kids pace through our homeschool curriculum. Yes, we do homeschool year-round which I know freaks a lot of people out, but I can assure you my kids are getting tons of vacations and breaks and homeschooling only takes us three hours a day! This definitely took some practice. It was not smooth sailing the first second or even 20th time we did a schedule like this. It really takes time for the kids to understand that when I am working with one of their siblings that they need to leave me alone and if they need help with anything they need to wait. This is probably the hardest part of homeschooling a bunch of young kids at the same time. None of them can really work fully independently yet so everybody needs my help at the same time which can be very overwhelming.
