HORMONE HEALTH 🎀🍓🍉🍊🥩 I want to make it CLEAR. I am not. Doctor nor a hormone professional. I’m just here to share my story and truly list things that I believed help my hormones that were completely tanked. I also believe following these lifestyle changes helped me get pregnant 🤰🏽 1. BLOOD WORK/ FINDING A HORMONE CLINIC.  This is step number 1! I would highly recommend getting regular bloodwork at least 2 to 3 times a year! Find a hormone clinic that truly listens to your needs, concerns, and what you need! I was lucky enough to have multiple people in my corner and help me get on track! LIFESTYLE CHANGES ⬇️  If you didn’t know. When I started my hormone journey, I was put on a few different medication’s to help my plummeted numbers. Things were not turning around how me or my doctor had hoped.. but after getting and seeking a little more help, I realized nothing was changing because I was still living my old lifestyle of bad habits! Here are habits  I changed  2.sunlight + red light therapy.  Vitamin d is one of the best forms of medicine! As well as red light. It can help with inflammation, stress, acne, healing and so much more.  3. COLD EXPOSURE.  Now I know there’s a lot of back and forth on this hut while healing my hormones I took cold showers or cold plunges 2x a day! Cold exposure triggers the release of stress-related hormones like adrenaline (epinephrine) and noradrenaline (norepinephrine), which can lead to a boost in alertness, focus, and mood, while also potentially promoting the release of dopamine, often referred to as the “feel-good” hormone; this response is primarily due to the body’s physiological reaction to a sudden cold stimulus, activating the sympathetic nervous system 4. Implementing more FATS.  If you are a woman and put below 45g of fat for more than a month or 2 it can be extremely harmful to your hormones. I was eating around 30 g of fat for over four years and I believe and know it was a huge factor in what was hurting my hormones health. I started slowly adding in more red meat, salmon, grass fed butter, nuts, and stopped fasting! Fats are the essential building blocks of hormone health.  5. 5. Less screen time, grounding, anything to reduce STRESS IN MY LIFE. Stress can be one of the most harmful things to our hormones and into our body! Working from home, and owning a business, I can be on my screen and awful a lot! I started making a goal to log on my phone until after 9 AM and logging off of it at 6-7PM! I also started going for walks this morning at night without my phone and really trying to ground myself and be present in my life! Sounds silly.
